What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that your browser stores for a website. The browser's local storage works in a similar way. The same rule applies to both (Section 25 of the German TDDDG): anything the website does not strictly need is only stored with your consent.
Necessary
We set these two cookies ourselves. Without them the website does not work as intended, so they are always active and do not require consent (Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG). They contain nothing that identifies you as a person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) and, for your choice in the cookie window, our obligation to be able to demonstrate consent (Art. 6 (1) (c) in conjunction with Art. 7 (1) GDPR).

Statistics (only with your consent)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how enquiries come about. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR). Google signals are switched off, and event data is deleted after 14 months. The legal basis is your consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel to measure whether our advertising on Facebook and Instagram leads to visits to this website. The provider is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA; Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. We are jointly responsible with Meta for collecting and transmitting the data (Art. 26 GDPR). The legal basis is your consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

Visitor counting without cookies
In addition, we count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. This service sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device; visitors are not recognised across days. It therefore also runs without consent. Details are in our privacy policy.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent with effect for the future at any time: with the button below or via "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Once you withdraw consent, we no longer load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel. Cookies that have already been set stay in your browser until their storage period ends, but they are no longer read. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
